Sodding

The best sodding results begin with a good foundation.  The first thing we do is assess your area, then complete a site clean-up and levelling with machinery.

We use the finest mix of soil on all our projects which is raked into place.  When the foundation is done, we install Kentucky blue grass sod.

We provide each customer instructions on proper care of their new lawn.

Planting

Whether you are looking for an outdoor space that includes smaller plants or large trees to frame your space, we ensure your plants will thrive.

Our plants come from Manitoba nurseries and are all well-suited for our Manitoba climate.

Always working within industry standards, we start your new plants off with the finest soil mix.  To ensure your plants give you a lifetime of enjoyment, we provide all care instructions.

Paving Stone Driveways & Patios

Paving stone driveways and patios are not only beautiful, but durable and easy to maintain.

Work begins with preparing the area where the paving stones will be laid in.  Removal of existing material (where necessary) is completed either by hand or machinery depending on the area and material being removed.  Once we have the area cleared, a base of limestone gravel will be installed and compacted to industry standards to prevent future settling.

The pavers and pattern chosen by you are then installed.  The final step is installing polymeric sand between the pavers to prevent weeds and insects from emerging.

We use Barkman products and are an authorized Barkman contractor.

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are not just used for practical reasons, they are also a beautiful landscaping feature used everywhere.

We start by excavating manually or with machinery approximately six inches below surface.

A base of limestone gravel is installed where the first row of retaining wall bricks will be placed.  Then the additional rows will continue until the pattern you chose is completed. Each additional row on top of the base row is glued with outdoor masonry glue to prevent shifting.

We use Barkman products and are an authorized Barkman contractor.

Fences

If necessary, we remove old fencing.

Using an auger, we dig hold from six to eight feet apart, depending on material used and design chosen.

We use high quality pressure treated lumber specific for outdoor fencing.  The products we use do not require staining or painting unless it is cedar.

The fence project is completed according the design chosen by the client.

Pergolas

Pergolas can add such a beautiful effect to your outdoor space.

We employ master carpenters to build the pergola to your design.

We use only pressure treated lumber or cedar, securing posts either to a concrete base surface or installed into the ground (similar to fence posts).

When your pergola is completed, you will have years of enjoyment.
